Marotte et Charlie sur Besancon

An exceptional place where you feel right at home ❤️🌞; while passing through Besançon, I discovered this magical place thanks to my brother ♥️. The food is excellent, flavorful, and the pastries are delicious; a true delight for the palate 😍♥️ I highly recommend it 🌟🌞♥️🌈

A hearty and delicious brunch! 100% vegetarian, with savory and sweet options, and two drinks of your choice. The waitresses are efficient and professional. The dining room is very charming, with tasteful decor and a pleasant terrace.

Easily one of the best places in Besançon for excellent cakes, wonderful drinks and the kindest, sweetest staff you could ask for. A lovely little children's corner too. Really just a delightful place, happy they've moved into a bigger premises!

A fantastic lunch, a wonderful welcome, and a special mention for the exquisite desserts 😍

A very nice and cozy place, run by charming and smiling staff who take requests into account (even from difficult customers). Original menus with fresh ingredients and generous portions. Superb desserts (lots of mouthwatering choices), refreshing and unique drinks.

Great location, delicious food. However, I didn't find the interior cozy, inviting, or comfortable. Disappointed 😞 I was really looking forward to going.

My favorite café in Besançon, everything is perfect: the drinks and pastries are excellent, the place is super cute, and the staff are always incredibly friendly! A great place 😌

A very cute and uniquely decorated café with indoor and outdoor seating. The cake was delicious, as was the coffee. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and dogs are welcome in the café (including inside).

We tried Marotte and Charlie's brunch this Sunday, and we had a wonderful time! The brunch was truly exceptional, with high-quality ingredients. Everything was delicious, generous, and prepared with great care. The decor also deserves a mention: it's a beautiful, warm, and incredibly cozy place. You really feel like you're at your grandmother's house, in a soft and comforting atmosphere. A huge thank you also for the sweet potato waffles, even on a Sunday! This little touch was a real treat and was much appreciated. We were with our children, who were initially a bit hesitant when they saw what was on the brunch menu… but in the end, they loved it! It's always a real pleasure to see a place offering dishes that appeal to even the youngest diners. Finally, we were absolutely delighted by the thoughtful touches in the restrooms. Providing supplies for menstrual issues is a thoughtful gesture that you don't see everywhere. It's truly appreciated, and even my 11-year-old daughter noticed and told me it was a wonderful idea. Thank you for your warm welcome and for all the thoughtful touches that make all the difference. We will definitely be back!

Excellent. A lovely atmosphere that exudes calm and kindness. The drinks and pastries are wonderful. We're from Brittany and never miss this moment of happiness whenever we're in Besançon.
