Excellent lunch, a welcome respite from the heatwave: a generous, varied, and tasty vegetarian dish, and a leg of lamb dish – tender meat. The service was very friendly, with pleasant Eritrean and Ethiopian music.

I went at 3:45 pm, which is outside of typical lunchtime in France (so there was no one eating), and the service was perfect. I don't remember the name of what I ordered (I've attached a photo), but it was amazing and a huge portion for one person.
A 10/10 place if you can get there.

This is our fifth visit to Massawa restaurant, whether with family or friends. The welcome is always warm and friendly. The dishes are delicious and the menu is very varied. The premises are spacious and bright. It's a place I recommend without hesitation.

We try Ethiopian/Eritrean everywhere we go and this place is delicious! We got the 2 veggie plates (#4 and 5) and everything was fresh, nicely spiced (especially the lentils), the service was really nice and it was very affordable. Definitely would recommend if you're looking for something that's not touristy near the train station!

There are relatively few Ethiopian restaurants in Paris, and I think this one is the best. The most authentic (Bebenyatu is better here than anywhere else). I highly recommend it.

My first experience with Eritrean food. I discovered many new flavors.
We received a very warm welcome.
The dishes served were generous and inexpensive. My only complaint is that some of the ingredients weren't fresh, especially the vegetables (the spinach and green beans seemed to be canned).

This was my first time eating injera here!
The injera and delicious vegetable and meat stew were a perfect treat for my tired stomach after a 10-day trip to Europe.
The injera had a slight sourness, was soft and fizzy, and came in so much that I couldn't finish it all. ☺️ Thank you for the meal.
The staff were also very kind.
