My first experience at Matsuya was rather mixed. But I went back once, twice, ten times, and in the end, it's truly excellent sushi. The creative rolls are really very good, and the more classic dishes are just as good. It's become my go-to sushi place; I go at least once a month.

Good Japanese food, but the portions are the smallest in all of Paris. Is there a cause-and-effect relationship with this very touristy neighborhood? In the kitchen, make an effort and use a little more; you'll get 5/5.

Excellent Japanese food! Fast and friendly service. The shrimp roms were very delicate and refined. The mixed chirashi menu was delicious. Good white wine by the carafe. I had a wonderful evening!

23/01/2026: We regularly buy our sushi here, and we're never disappointed! The staff is super friendly and the sushi is delicious! The prices are very reasonable. There are veggie options too ;)
