Superb restaurant with generous and flavorful authentic cuisine. Everything is delicious; it's my favorite place in the Var region. The service is top-notch, and there's a panoramic sea view from inside or on the terrace. I highly recommend Le Maurin des Maures.

Once again, as every year, an excellent dinner and very good advice from the waitress for the Pagre and the rosé, thank you so much, too bad the owner wasn't there but as we say in Normandy: Boujou.

Great spot for local people and is also very welcoming to tourists. One of the best grilled doradas we had. They also make amazing paella and you need to call an order it in advance.

A little disappointed compared to last year. Everything on the menu was very average, although the prices have increased, which would be understandable if the quality had been there. Our neighbors also complained about the quality of the starter (red mullet fillets) to the waiter, who replied that he hadn't cooked it! Not a very professional response. For our part, we can confirm that the salad starter with red mullet fillets was borderline; they didn't taste very good. The mixed grill was okay, the octopus very bland, the fish soup was good, and the desserts were average (the rum baba was poorly presented with fruit salad instead of raisins—meh...). I think it's mainly a restaurant specializing in bouillabaisse, which, on the other hand, looks good and hearty. So, a mixed review.

There are restaurants where you eat well. And then there are places where you feel something. At Le Maurin des Maures, you quickly understand why entire generations have been returning for so long. A sincere welcome, a timeless atmosphere, a magnificent view… and above all, André Del Monte, “Dédé,” present year after year with a simplicity and generosity that have become rare. You'll encounter regulars, families, memories, life stories. And even on the plate, everything exudes authenticity. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. If you're passing through Rayol-Canadel-sur-Mer, take the time to stop here. Some places can't really be described… they have to be experienced.
