03/08/2026: The location right on the beach is beautiful and creates a pleasant atmosphere. However, many seats are located behind the sun loungers, so the view of the sea is partially obstructed.
The service was friendly and generally acceptable. However, the food was disappointing. The portions were rather meager – which would be perfectly acceptable if the quality were exceptional. However, the quality, especially considering the prices of over €30 per main course, fell far short of our expectations. In our opinion, the value for money is therefore not good. Paying almost €160 for two main courses, two children's plates, and drinks is simply too much for this quality and portion size.
The rosé wine was also underwhelming. We expected significantly more for the price. Its flavor was unbalanced and, surprisingly for a rosé, it had pronounced tannins.
Overall, the restaurant's main selling point is its beachfront location. Unfortunately, the food and value for money did not meet our expectations.

02/09/2026: I was really expecting better!!
To start, the fish soup was quite good, but the croutons were as hard as rocks.
Watch your teeth! After speaking to the owner, it seems to be the baker's fault!!
The main course was okay, but nothing special.
The dessert was disappointing: an almond biscuit with candied citrus was dry, and I couldn't taste the lemon or orange, with a nice melon sorbet.
As for the service, a young woman who didn't speak French didn't understand when I asked for salt and pepper.
In short, I won't be going back.
It's a shame because we regularly spend our holidays in Canadel.
02/09/2026: Great place. Food is really done well and there’s a nice selection on the menu. Staff are really friendly, the prices are good. What more does one need?

16/05/2026: I came for the restaurant, which features fresh, local ingredients and sensational, excellent, and creative dishes that are a welcome change from the typical menus of the local beach restaurants.
The service was discreet and high-quality, and the setting was elegant and modern. I didn't have time to take pictures of the food; it was all eaten!

18/08/2026: We have been coming here for years. Nostalgic feeling and the best profiteroles!! Reservations recommended.
07/08/2026: We rediscovered the legendary Canadel beach with pleasure. The restaurant offers a varied menu with very well-prepared dishes. Ange was excellent throughout our stay. The parasols and sun loungers are comfortable and well-spaced. The whole team makes you feel right at home!

16/08/2026: Today, six of us visited Jardin Cabane Bambou, hoping for a relaxed lunch. Unfortunately, the initial greeting was rather cold and made us feel like we were a nuisance or too much of a nuisance.
So, in the end, we only ordered drinks. However, I must commend the cocktails – they were really good, and we're giving them 3 stars.
The prices are quite high in our opinion, although that's perhaps not unusual for the South of France. What disappointed us most, though, was the service. We didn't get the impression that they were happy to have guests or that they were making any special effort to look after us.
Since we wanted to eat something afterward, we decided to go to the Maurin des Maures restaurant, which is only about 100 meters away. There, in contrast, we received a very warm and friendly welcome and felt at home from the start. This significant difference, which unfortunately made our overall impression on Jardin Cabane Bambou even more apparent.
... Conclusion: Beautiful location and good cocktails, but in our opinion, the service definitely needs improvement. It's a shame, because the visit could have been so much better.

08/06/2024: Tout d’abord un très bon accueil et ensuite de très jolis petits plats avec une vraie recherche, aussi bien sur le goût que pour les couleurs. Des plats originaux faits avec les produits du coin. Vraiment top et pardon d’avoir demandé un coca zéro 🤣

Pizza généreuse.
Il y a de la place dehors et dedans, on a ses aises.
20/04/2024: Venue avec des amies nous avons été reçue comme un Chine dans un jeux de quille j ai rarement rencontre aussi désagréable À fuir ne mérite vraiment pas de bosser …
