My husband and I had dinner at Maxim's. We received a very warm welcome and were given a table overlooking the port of Gruissan. I highly recommend this family-run restaurant. The two sisters provide consistently pleasant and attentive service 🙏✌️🥰. The young woman at the bar and the till also had a smile 😃 and created a great atmosphere 🥰. If you're ever in the area, don't hesitate to stop by and be pleasantly surprised. The menu is very varied and offers excellent value for money 🙏🥰✌️. So, see you at Maxim's in the port of Gruissan 🙏. Thank you to the whole family and the restaurant team for your wonderful hospitality 🙏🥰

Deserves average, nothing more, it's passable but not exceptional either... Tourist restaurant, nice setting facing the port and excellent tiramisu... As for the rest, the cooking is absolutely not mastered, the pizza is bland and sorely lacking in seasoning, the hot sauce isn't spicy at all, and the children's menu nuggets are the cheapest option, judging by their appearance; my daughter didn't eat them... Friendly welcome

Visited this place during my summer vacation. Looking for a nice restaurant for eight people, we stumbled upon this one after a long search.
The exterior was quite pleasant, and we received a warm welcome with a carafe of water, which was a welcome touch in the summer.
However, the food was disappointing. They refused to make even slight changes to the children's menu (they refused to substitute salmon for the nuggets, while adults could order salmon pasta).
The pasta Carbonara was served with cream, even though it comes with an egg.
The pizzas were far too thick and difficult to eat.
The toilets were filthy, with water on the floor and toilet paper everywhere. We tried this place, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Excellent service, attentive waiter, and the food was delicious! However, on a Friday in mid-August, we quickly realized they were going to close at 10:30 pm, which was a shame!
