Luckily we had priority access to our passports, otherwise we would have missed our flight. However, I wasn't satisfied with the staff. I had received a message from Air France to access this service, and I had to insist strongly with the staff to get into the queue. One of them simply ignored me.

The destination signs are large, clear, and convenient. On the way to the taxi stand, there are many taxi touts, so ignore them and head straight to the stand. When meeting an Uber driver, you will meet at the terminal's drop-off area, but be aware that the terms for the ground floor and first floor are different from those in Japan.

I had a lot of trouble finding my Avis car rental, and according to them, it's your fault. At the counter in Terminal 1, when it's closed, the directions are to go to the parking lot. There's no one in the parking lot, so the directions are still to go to the counter in Terminal 1. I drove around for almost an hour before being told it was in Terminal 2D. Avis told me that it was Paris airports that were causing the problem in notifying customers of the change with a sign in Terminal 1.

Thank goodness for assistance when needed! Rather efficient a lot of travel within the airport to arrive at your destination! Arrive early as recommended!

30/06/2026: It’s a nice hotel located less than 20 minutes away from CDG airport. There is a mini kitchenette with stove top and the rooms are air conditioned, although the system is weak and makes the room extremely humid at night. Downsides are that the staff didn’t seem as friendly and the hotel is over 2+ hours out from Central Paris if you plan on taking public transportation to go sightseeing and explore the city. A mall is close nearby and it is located in a very quiet area great for sleep and relaxing. Overall, it’s worth a stay if you are seeking a budget friendly, clean and comfortable hotel for your stay that you don’t mind is further out from Central Paris.
