Hello,
I would like to share a negative experience I recently had at one of your restaurants.
After placing an order totaling €38.70, we ordered two Caramel KitKat McFlurries. When I received them, the server immediately apologized, laughing and saying there was nothing he could do. They were extremely runny, more like a milkshake than ice cream. The texture was very fluid and nothing like what you would expect from a McFlurry.
As a loyal McDonald's customer, I travel frequently and have had several McFlurries throughout France, and this is the first time I've experienced this texture.
So I got up from my table to go to the counter and spoke to the manager to report the problem. Her response was that since each McDonald's is a franchise, each one has "its own recipe." Surprised by this explanation, I replied that in that case, I didn't see the point in calling it a McFlurry and that I should be given a straw to drink it like a milkshake. I asked her if she was in the right, and she replied that they had directives from management to serve them that way.
The discussion then lasted a few minutes. The manager was quite haughty and unpleasant, simply repeating that she had directives and that she was following them. After I asked for a refund, the manager finally agreed to remake the two McFlurries, but while ostentatiously huffing and puffing with her colleagues around her, which made the situation even more unpleasant.
I find it unfortunate that a simple comment about the quality of a product can turn into a tense exchange with a team member. I understand the constraints of the service, but a minimum of attentiveness and courtesy would have been appreciated, especially in the restaurant industry where hygiene and safety regulations are quite strict. I find it regrettable, as I'm thinking of two McFlurries that had been sitting on the counter for a very long time, only to be turned into a mess like that.
I simply wanted to bring this situation to your attention, as it doesn't reflect the level of service one generally expects in your restaurants.

The wait was quite long. We arrived on Sunday, and there was no one at the drive-thru. We were asked to go to number 1 to get our order, and several people behind us were served with their orders.
(We only ordered two regular meals.) My opinion is mixed; sometimes the service is good, other times it's awful. But the worst part is the wait inside McDonald's.

Tonight I went to McDonald's. It was very busy, so there was a wait, but you could see the employees running around everywhere. I encourage them to keep it up.

Stopped by the drive-thru this Thursday the 12th (10 pm), came for a quick meal after a long day, and left with a smile thanks to the friendly staff member. (And my special request was definitely honored!)
