McDonald's sur Chateau-Gontier

The staff is welcoming and very friendly, attentive to customer requests. It's a pleasure to eat at this restaurant because the service is quick and the place is clean. I will gladly return.

A McDonald's like so many others... but clean, friendly staff, little waiting time.

I went to get a McDonald's takeout for myself and my children on Monday, February 2, 2026, and barely an hour later I experienced stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and chills. My children were unaffected.

I appreciate the pleasant atmosphere in this restaurant. The staff is very helpful. Balloons are available for children, and candy is also distributed during service. Newspapers and videos are shown on TVs to entertain customers dining alone. It's clear that cleanliness is very important to them. Someone is on hand to ensure the dining room and restrooms are cleaned. The manager also went around the room disinfecting the screens and door handles.

I am a regular customer. I would like to thank the team at McDonald's in Château-Gontier again for their always friendly welcome and the cleanliness of the restaurant.

One of the managers is not behaving properly towards the other employees, and what's more, in front of clients!

I'm originally from the Paris region, and now living here, I'm surprised by this restaurant. It's particularly welcoming, to begin with, but the sandwiches and fries are cooked to perfection, a far cry from the McDonald's I've had before. The sandwiches, especially the steak, are cooked perfectly every time. Well done! It's not much, but eating a good sandwich is always appreciated. Kudos to the team, and a special mention: I finally managed to get my Christmas candle with 25 points! Thank you.

The restaurant is very clean, including the restrooms, which is worth noting. The hamburgers are well-made, generous, and consistently high-quality. The service is pleasant. The only drawback is its location: the restaurant is squeezed between a busy road and a supermarket, making it rather unappealing. Also worth noting: it gets very busy on Wednesdays at lunchtime. Between groups of middle school students and grandparents with their grandchildren, the atmosphere can quickly become reminiscent of a daycare center. It's best to avoid this time if you're looking for a quieter experience.

Thursday afternoon, no one in the restaurant, just one car in the drive-thru, and yet it took almost 10 minutes to be served a coffee and a flurry even though there were staff members...unbelievable for fast food! 😒 Luckily, the staff were really very friendly 😊
