29/06/2026: Overall, a very disappointing experience. We ordered two steak tartares, for which the quantity and quality of the fries were notoriously insufficient. It was impossible to judge the quality of the meat.
We then ordered two "gourmet coffees," for which only the coffee was acceptable. The petit fours, priced at €9.50, were mere half-eaten bites of very average quality, not to mention the thin layer of crème brûlée.
In short, I am completely dissatisfied, especially considering the exorbitant price.

15/05/2026: Dinner with friends (8 people) in the evening. A very pleasant surprise for a brasserie that could easily be considered low-end. In fact, the dishes were quite well-prepared, and the desserts were excellent too, especially the profiteroles. All this for a very reasonable price.
In short, a great place to eat in this small town. Highly recommended.
03/05/2026: The Caesar salad was great, but the welcome was poor. The service and reception were unpleasant, and I was very disappointed with this restaurant when we left. They need to improve their customer service.

27/05/2026: This establishment is closed. It would be helpful to have a sign indicating this for those walking 1km, as it's parked far away in a heavy vehicle parking area.

24/05/2026: It had been a long time since I'd had a hot McDonald's.
It was delicious, and we were served very quickly for four different meals.
Everything was perfect, welcoming, and with a smile.
19/05/2026: It's always the same story, regardless of the McDonald's location or the years that go by.
Tonight again, I ordered click and collect from the Chateau-Gontier drive-thru, and the potatoes are never cooked through. There's always a mistake in the order (this time, a sandwich with a rösti patty, but without the patty). The least they could do, considering their prices are twice as high as their competitors, is to properly check orders before handing them to customers.
Aside from that, the staff's attitude remains good.

16/01/2025: Je suis retournée dans ce restaurant où je suis déjà allée plusieurs fois. Contente de retrouver les anciens propriétaires. La cuisine est toujours aussi bonne et le personnel sympathique et agréable.

The rooms are spacious and very well maintained, and the hospitality of the innkeepers is impeccable.
