McDonald's sur Saint-Witz

An ideal place to settle in and work in good conditions. Thank you to Marion for her ever-smiling welcome, her kindness, and the perfectly hot chocolate. A real treat!

Honestly, there were way too many flies inside the restaurant.

Arriving on a Sunday evening at 6:50 PM, when the restaurant and drive-thru were practically empty, I wasn't served until 7:15 PM. Order processing was particularly slow; they only ordered one Happy Meal and two Best Of menus. It's a shame, because with such low customer traffic, I expected much faster service.

A loyal McDonald's customer for a very, very long time. Disappointed once again by the declining quality; burgers are often served cold. And tonight, unfortunately, I decided to try a Philly Cheeseburger. At over €10 for a single, I expected better. The recipe wasn't followed, and in the end, the burger was completely dry. The restaurant's response was that the cheese slices weren't placed correctly. Could I have another one? The answer was no, impossible, no compensation, no exchange. I strongly suspect my next visit will be a very, very long time from now.

Better organization since the renovation

Overall, a decent visit to McDonald's. The food was good and exactly what you'd expect from a McDonald's: hot burgers, order fulfilled, and the usual good taste. No complaints there. However, the service was rather average. The staff weren't particularly welcoming or unpleasant, but the whole place lacked organization and attention to customers. The wait was a bit long for a fairly simple order. The main negative point was the cleanliness of the restaurant. Several tables were dirty, there was trash lying around, and the floor wasn't very clean either. It's a shame because it detracts from the comfort of eating in. It wasn't a bad experience, but there are clearly improvements to be made in terms of service and especially restaurant maintenance.

Unfortunately, that McDonald's had a series of problems that day. I mean, no air conditioning, a packed drive-thru and counter, and the staff did what they could. But it's pretty common at McDonald's, the service is slow! You can't really call it fast food anymore. As a former McDonald's employee, I find today's young people quite sluggish compared to my time (oops, I'm sounding like an old fogey!). But beyond that, the new table service format and the counter layout mean they can't handle the rush. There's no space on the counter and not enough staff to serve. Aside from the nostalgia, I'm increasingly avoiding McDonald's.

I was helped very well by the dark-haired boy with glasses, one of the few who speaks English. Very polite and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you, garcon!
