Back from vacation: McDonald's sandwiches, but well-prepared (not the patty on the left and the bread on the right 😂). Welcoming staff. And above all, clean, which is worth mentioning. The team even maintains the premises during service 👍. So it's still McDonald's, but with care put into it by the staff. It was pleasant 😉

Ordering online and having to wait 30 minutes to pick up your order at the click-and-collect service. Is that normal? I ended up going into the restaurant to check on my order when I saw cars that arrived after me receiving their orders before mine. When I picked up my order and asked if this was normal, they told me they had to remake it, and I had to ask if I would receive any compensation. They said yes, a coffee or something, but I refused; I was clearly fed up with waiting. A discount voucher would have been enough.

17/05/2026: I bought some savory kouign-amann yesterday morning; they were great warmed up as an appetizer, especially the ones with Roscoff onions. However, the shop was incredibly crowded, and the young saleswoman, who was very friendly, was working flat out serving customers all by herself. Perhaps two sales assistants wouldn't have been too much, especially since it was market day and a long weekend, and the streets of Guérande were packed. These new savory treats are very good.
03/04/2026: A good address within the city walls. Little risk of being disappointed.
