McDonald's sur Amboise

Very good, clean, the employees are friendly. But I'm a little angry because I placed an order at the kiosk for two people, and when I went to pay, I made a mistake (which can happen), so I changed my meal. However, the cashier added another meal, so the total, which should have been around €27, went up to €43. Since it was busy, I didn't really understand. Also, I didn't understand much on the receipt. So, for you, you made money, but for me, it wasn't the same. Furthermore, I told the cashier that they had charged me extra for a wrap, and she just said, "Oops, a mistake." But when I checked afterward, I saw an extra meal, so that's not great. In addition, we had ordered sauces, and there were none. They offered us sauces, we said yes, but there were no sauces in them. Okay, I planned to eat at McDonald's to please my son, I want to please him but this was still expensive.

This McDonald’s is conveniently located near the Leonardo da Vinci House and Museum, just a 5-minute drive away. Since we couldn’t find any halal restaurants in the immediate vicinity, we decided to give this place a try. We ordered fish burgers with fries and a cola. The staff was respectful and attentive, and the service was excellent.

Served quickly for a fast food restaurant, nothing to report.

We spent close to 80€ on a meal for 4, and that included 4 drinks. Since we only got 2 straws, and my wife prefers to use a straw for her McCafe, she went up and asked for 1 more straw. The staff flatly refused her request. I understand if perhaps straws do not normally come with a McCafe beverage, but it would have been a very easy gesture to grant the request, especially with a fairly large order. The unwillingness of the staff to perform such a very small kindness is telling. Otherwise, the food was reasonably good, the wait time was acceptable, everything else was decent. I would not return here. It is easy to find better food for less money nearby.

I'm very happy with the McDonald's in Amboise! Not only were the staff welcoming and offered to clear our trays, but they all wear hairnets in the kitchen. I'm very satisfied with this McDonald's and highly recommend it!

I wanted to share our experience at the McDonald's in Amboise on July 25th. We were surprised by the way the manager (I assume) spoke to the young employees, who I believe are there as students. She aggressively demanded, without a "please," that her staff thoroughly clean the McDonald's during their shift, down to the last speck of dust, saying, and I quote, "I only asked for two tasks: the restrooms and the dining area. It's not that complicated." These same young people greeted us when we entered, served us with a smile and politeness, and even greeted us again when we left—all of which this woman failed to do, even though we were right in front of her. She preferred to talk to one of her colleagues and act as the police officer for these young people. Having only been there for an hour, I can't judge what goes on in this McDonald's, but I find it very unfortunate to speak to these young people like that. There are ways to ask for things, regardless of one's status. Especially since they weren't idle; it just wasn't a crowded place with tables being washed every two seconds… Aside from this incident, which caught our attention, the meals were decent, and we had no problems.

The restaurant was packed with families around lunchtime. Despite this, we immediately found a parking spot and ordered six dishes and three drinks. Everything arrived in just 5 minutes! All the staff wore hairnets. Highly recommended!
