A very busy day during peak hours: we were impressed by the speed of service and the cleanliness of the premises. Kudos to the team and the manager, who we saw rotating through all the stations, from waiting tables to cleaning the toilets and high chairs.

We came to the McDonald's in Villenave d'Ornon today around 6 PM. The place is pleasant, with a 1900s style. A 21-minute wait for two ice creams and a croque monsieur with an egg inside is a bit much. The employee had made the ice creams in advance, and as I suspected, when we received the order, the ice cream was runny. They also got our order mixed up because we received drinks from five orders after ours. A pigeon was wandering around the restaurant; none of the employees seemed to mind, but the other customers, like me, were surprised to see a pigeon in the restaurant. Otherwise, the atmosphere was nice.

Passing through Bordeaux, I thought it would be fun to have a meal there.
As for the food on the tray, it's just like any other McDonald's, and the restrooms are a bit neglected (you'll appreciate the image...). The place's charm lies in its retro feel; everything is designed to evoke the 1950s (the decor, the accessories, the posters). But who had the bright idea to open a restaurant like this?
It's a victim of its own success: the waitstaff are overwhelmed, the tables aren't cleaned regularly, and there are far too few self-service kiosks (only three when we ordered).

Hello, I went to this place after a movie because a friend had told me the decor was unusual. But what a disappointment it was when I saw the little jumping bugs on the counter while waiting for my order, and then the others littering the floor, some alive, some squashed. It's a bit of a turn-off.

Returning from vacation, we arrived around 2:30 am and what a pleasure to find a McDonald's open 24/7! Despite the late hour, the staff was very friendly, welcoming, and above all, very fast. Efficient service, order prepared quickly: exactly what we needed after several hours on the road. Thank you to the night team! 👍
