Special mention for my house smoked salmon and the Basque blood sausage as well as the famous chai d'ornon platter. An address to remember and which makes you want to come back (for 20 years for us)

31/03/2024: Very disappointed with everything, my mother had reserved for 13 people for my 30th birthday. We arrived and ordered wine and other aperitifs (beers and juices for the children). The waiter literally put the bottle on the table without even having to pay. to serve us, I told him very kindly since I was in a very festive atmosphere for my 30th birthday but you are not serving us? The gentleman answered me but you thought you were at the tavern???? I thought it was a joke, we waited a good 5 minutes then we understood that we had to help ourselves from the bottle (I worked in catering and when a customer orders a bottle we present it and serve the first glass.. .this is the basis) in short followed by ordering the menus my mother had made it clear on the phone that she wanted the menus at 32 euros the gentleman told us that there were none that we had to order before etc while my mother had confirmed by telephone the wish for the menus at 32 euros so the manager came and took my mother from a very high position in front of all the guests saying that she had not understood anything on the telephone we were all amazed at the way he addressed my mom So we started with the menus for the most part... The waiter sold us the pork very well, saying that they served it pink so that it was tender, etc. I took it with my mother, but what a surprise!! !! Worse than savate with the charred top of a cooking plate finally grill not cleaned at all I didn't eat anything nor even my mother the other dishes for the majority of flank steaks the cooking was not respected no excuses when we we shared this if not we will do it again if you wish I preferred to refuse because I felt that it annoyed them then arrived the dessert my aunt had a piece of plastic on the top of her crème brûlée we asked for a another crème brûlée because that was really the icing on the cake, no excuses either except oh it's just an oversight!!!!!!, When everyone had left, I took the opportunity to chat with a waiter to tell him all the dissatisfaction he himself was sorry etc. then I went to the toilet when I came out the manager was waiting for me firmly because he was not happy with what I had said to the waiter so I re-explained things by saying that yes it was a real fiasco from start to finish with more than 300 euros lost and no commercial gesture for all that nor even a coffee offered to apologize, this nice gentleman (ironically) said to me well it's worth it to have offered you a dessert for your birthday but big joke what dessert!!!???? I had a store formula so a dessert that they didn't let me choose, they brought me a really disgusting pie and an ice cream that was more than chemical!!!! His attitude was really unprofessional from start to finish, not to mention the two beers he charged my partner to add to his cash drawer or in his pocket even though all the beers had been paid for in advance by my friend! !!! When I heard about the beers in the car on the way home I wanted to turn around to get a refund. but my partner told me to give up!!!! I am revolted by everything I have described with the added bonus of a stomach ache for everyone since the evening and until now 1:37 p.m. I would like to be strongly reminded by the owner of this restaurant to put things straight regarding the facts from his manager!!!!!, Obviously I absolutely do not recommend this establishment which is to be avoided!!!!!, Ms. Garcia Laure

04/04/2024: Great discovery. Smiling welcome. We had the main course and dessert option for lunch. It was perfect. We will come back one evening for tapas.
