Very, very dirty... What a shame

My first time in Montpellier, I went to this McDonald's, and it was perfect. I was served in less than five minutes even though it was busy. The young man at the counter (Kennes) was perfect, super friendly, welcoming, and respectful. This McDonald's gets a 10/10!

The McDonald's in Alco is a convenient and rather pleasant spot in the neighborhood. The welcome is generally friendly, the service quite fast, and the staff does its best to keep things running smoothly even when it's busy. Orders are well-prepared, the food arrives hot, and the place remains comfortable for a simple, unpretentious break. It's exactly what you expect from this type of establishment: efficiency, accessibility, and a minimum of a smile, which isn't so bad.

It does the job for a light and quick meal.

Slow drive-through during quiet periods, no greeting at the checkout, so an effort in terms of service speed and politeness would be appreciated...

I go to this restaurant regularly; the welcome is friendly, the food arrives hot, and both the managers and staff are readily available if needed. I will return.

The menu was what you'd expect from McDonald's. It's still fast food with highly processed ingredients, so I don't come here expecting gourmet quality. However, a major negative point was the state of the dining area. At 4 p.m., when there were very few customers, the place was in a state of significant disarray: dirty tables, trash, and a clear lack of maintenance. I saw a manager in the background, but the staff didn't seem to be directed to address this issue. When business is slow, it seems reasonable to me that someone should be assigned to cleaning and tidying the dining area. If the restaurant is empty at 4 p.m. and the dining area remains dirty, it reflects an organizational and management problem—that's just my opinion. I have no complaints about the staff members; they're doing their jobs according to the instructions they're given. On the other hand, the organization and management clearly deserve to be reviewed in order to offer a more pleasant environment for customers.
