After a hectic day, I decided to take a deep breath… I thought to myself: what could be better than a good McDonald's? And I wasn't disappointed at all!!
The welcome from the team at this restaurant was so warm… Very friendly, attentive, and responsive to my needs, this team knew how to win me over and put me at ease while I was placing my order. I had the pleasure of a very pleasant chat with the young waitress Clémentine (still amazed by the name 😂). She gave me helpful advice on my meal choices, brought my order with kindness and speed, and a touch of citrus and acidity (haha😂)… Very smiley and welcoming, just like Roger, as usual, with his big smile. As for the service, it was very quick and the food was delicious. Thank you to the whole team at McDonald's Sarlat ❤️ I hope my next experience with you will be just as wonderful. No problem with this particular McDonald's: the staff is courteous and professional, the premises are clean, and the service is exactly what you'd expect from this type of establishment.
We come mainly for the children—the food is obviously not the main draw—and we know perfectly well what we're getting into.
However, I have a real problem with the group's current policies.
I already found the price increase for table service regrettable, a service that no one actually asked for. But the most disappointing aspect remains the Happy Meal.
For several years now, the "toy" hasn't really been a toy at all: card games or books that are hardly suitable, especially for young children. When you choose a toy, it's precisely to… have a toy.
And discovering at the checkout that you now have to add €0.72 for this toy—without any prior notice—is frankly unacceptable.
Even worse: there's no choice at all. With two children, we received the same deck of cards twice, completely unsuitable for their age and non-exchangeable. As a result, we paid for a useless, imposed item with no choice in the matter.
This is a shame, because this approach gives the impression of systematically compromising the customer experience, especially for children, which is, after all, one of the cornerstones of the concept.

I'm leaving this message after several calls and no response.
I just went and arrived home disappointed; my 6 chicken nuggets were missing.
Instead, I received 4 veggie nuggets, which I don't like at all.
Very disappointed, and having to drive 30 minutes to return, I gave up.
Otherwise, McDonald's has changed a lot, and I find it much nicer now.
