I stopped by MC Café and met a wonderful person named… Framboise (Françoise). She was incredibly kind and provided exceptional service. She truly deserves to be commended for her service and humanity. Christèle 🫶

Extremely undersized kitchen during peak hours when the shops are open... Otherwise, perfect in the evening when it's closed.
During shop opening hours, it's extremely crowded with long queues. Service is too slow because the size isn't suitable. Such a small McDonald's kitchen (not to mention the 230 seats) for the largest shopping center in France is frankly a bad calculation. There were also too few staff at certain times.
We even tried going during the day; there was always a long queue. It was fine in the evening.
McDonald's could easily open a second location in this center.

I came to this McDonald's to order an ice cream and take the opportunity to charge my phone. The problem is, people think they can do whatever they want and leave their phones everywhere. When you unplug them to sit at a table with an outlet, you get told off, even though they could just sit at that table to plug in their phones. Luckily, I ran into an employee who saw me looking for an outlet and kindly helped me find one. He even asked someone who hadn't ordered anything and had already sat down to move so I could charge my phone. Thank you to these employees who help customers! 🙏🏼

Table not cleaned thoroughly, bin full.
Meals sometimes served cold due to the wait.

For years I've frequented Lyon's most renowned restaurants—a city nonetheless proud of its culinary tradition—and it was in this McDonald's in the Part-Dieu district that I finally found what I was looking for: pure emotion.
From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere captivates you. The hum of the dining room, the vibrant neon lights, the unmistakable, honest aroma of hot frying. You settle in, and you already sense that something big is about to happen.
The Big Mac, served with disconcerting precision in its cardboard box, reveals a flavor architecture that few establishments dare to offer anymore: two patties, an iconic sauce, and pickles with a bold character. It's generous. It's unapologetic. It's courageous.
The fries—golden, crispy, and lightly salted—are simply divine. The Coke, served at freezing temperature in a translucent cup, completes an experience you'll be reluctant to leave. The service, quick and efficient, would put many Michelin-starred restaurants to shame. In less than three minutes, your tray is ready. No unnecessary waiting, no fuss. Lyon can be proud. La Part-Dieu can be proud. I'm going back tomorrow.

McDonald’s Lyon Part-Dieu stands out as a contemporary culinary experience where industrial rigor flirts with a form of popular audacity. From the moment you enter, the perfectly orchestrated ballet of the staff is reminiscent of the grandest establishments: a meticulously timed, almost choreographed rhythm, where each gesture seems repeated endlessly to achieve an almost artistic efficiency.
