Best food, super nice and friendly service. We first went there on a Sunday during the market, which would have only been possible with a reservation.
Then two more visits during the week at lunchtime: getting space without any problems.
The meat isn't just good, it's the best!!!

This meat-centred butcher/charcuterie/coffee shop used to be on the outside of the covered market, but since that’s closed for redevelopment it’s in a new home (next to other cafes and a fruit shop) just down the road in a sort of box/shed setup that’s created a covered, enclosed courtyard. The move has been good for the store with what feels like a larger and brighter interior, a chichi interior seated area and casual external seating that has the benefit of not being on the road!
We had a pitstop - coffee, charcuterie board, gazpacho. Wow. The board is a feast for two (easily a good lunch!). The soup was fresh, light and zinging, with a small mozzarella ball in the middle. The coffee was excellent.
The owner is a character and brings the place to life. A must-visit if you’re pounding the pavements of Brest as a tourist or visitor. If you live there you’re probably already a regular!

Second visit to Meatcouture for lunch, and still a great experience. You are received by an extremely friendly couple, he who advises you on meats or others, she who cooks both savory and sweet dishes.
Their small restaurant offers a short but effective menu (4 or 5 starters, 3 or 4 main courses, and a few desserts), this menu changes regularly. Everything is homemade, from the sauces to the bread, a real guarantee of quality! I particularly appreciated the possibility of choosing my meat directly from the fridge, where all the pieces are exposed. This lunchtime, my choice fell on a deliciously tender picanha, accompanied by delicious homemade fries and sauces made on site, including chimichurri and mayonnaise (the choice of sauces varies depending on the day). A real treat for the taste buds! To finish, I opted for a lemon tiramisu which turned out to be the perfect finishing touch, light and tasty. Special mention also for the homemade bread, which is just as excellent!
An address that I highly recommend for lovers of meat, (and not only that, there are salads too or others..) and especially quality home cooking! Enjoy!

Nous avons déjeuné à l improviste dans ce restaurant ( qui est délocalisé pour travaux)
Et c’est aussi bon qu original. Vous choisissez votre viande dans les vitrines et l établissement vous la cuit super qualité super accompagnement.

At the butcher, some of the best Charcuterie I have ever tasted and their aged meat leads to amazing cooks. Very friendly owners, great service, highly recommend
