Absolutely fabulous ice creams during the summer at an unbeatable price for such quality!!! Served generously in an equally wonderful cone or pot. Take advantage during the summer, during the clearance sale and for the last Saturday 09/21!!!! Well done !!!!

The place is magnificent - warm welcome On the other hand, big disappointment with the wafers which only tasted of sugar and no other flavor

A must visit in Lille if you like pastries. both tea room and shop are lovely. Had a homemade hot chocolate (not too sweet, more dark chocolate taste and big portion) and a chocolate filled eclair which was a thick chocolate bomb 😁. Took home some orange moelleux and pecan vanilla pastry which were also outstanding. worth the wait!

It's worth visiting this place just for the atmosphere. The cafe is incredibly tasteful. You have to take into account higher prices than in other places, but this is the price you pay for the fact that it is a place with a reputation. Everything was very tasty and the service was really cordial. On weekends and in the mornings it is definitely worth making a reservation. As for the store, the products are really high quality.

Little visit to the tea room. The place is very friendly and charming. The tastings and drinks are excellent. Very warm welcome, and little care from the staff. Thank you so much .

The food and dessert are exquisite. Their dinning hall is naturally lit and the ambiance is like stepping back in time. The service is very cordial too.

Déçus par la qualité et les prix. J'ai fréquenté il y a longtemps et je n'ai rien reconnu. On vous ouvre un sachet de gaufres (si vous avez de la chance) car sinon vous avez celles en rayon qui y sont peut être depuis longtemps. sans goût (sauf celles pécan) sèches et quasi inabordables en prix. Allez au marché où elles seront faites devant vous. La réputation ne fait pas tout!

29/07/2024: I had a wonderful evening as usual at M.Jacques’s. Arthur our favorite bartender server was superb as usual. We will come back with pleasure!
13/07/2024: Monsieur Jacques is a real Lille institution. The service is great and the wines are good. I removed one star because we ordered a mixed board (price: 21 euros) which, in fact, arrived on a normal plate and not very well stocked with cheese and cold meats. There was a lot of salad in the middle. In short, I found it a bit outrageous to see such a small plate for 21 euros. This is for me a point to improve.

20/08/2024: Always a good atmosphere! Thanks for tightening up my headset in just a few minutes yesterday!
04/07/2024: I know the “meshwork” version which allowed me to learn a lot of things. Here for Wazemmes it was an emergency, the branch of my pedal board had some play. As soon as I walked through the door I was greeted by a super nice person, we looked, she asked about my problem, gave me advice and I tighten it all up. The atmosphere is incredible, the service exemplary and professional. For me, hands on the handlebars (regardless of the location) must become of public utility (yes, just that!) It is a must for any cyclist. Many thanks 🙏
