A very beautiful boutique; the place is elegant and truly makes you want to discover their specialties. However, my girlfriend and I were a little disappointed by the quality of service. We expected more explanations about the products and the different fragrances offered. It would also have been nice to be able to taste some samples to better choose between several fragrances. This would have made the experience even more complete in such a renowned boutique.

The must see place in Lille. If you are looking for the iconic “gauffre lilloise”, this is your place. If you want delicious pastries, this is tour place. And, if tou are looking for a calm spot in Lille, to enjoy your coffee/tea/soft drink accompanied by a generous slice of pastry (or more 😝), this is your place. The service is amazing, welcoming, kind, polite and generous. A place full of history and heritage, just look up and enjoy the architecture. I super recommend it. I dare say that you haven’t been in Lille, until you visit Méert.

While in Lille, I tried the products from Maison Méert, recommended by an acquaintance. Although I don't usually like waffles, I found the price a bit high, but I was pleasantly surprised by the taste, so I'm giving it 4 stars.

It's a historical place worth visiting. The macaroons and chocolate eclairs is definitely a good choice. The other tarts are extremely sweet and the ingredients are not balanced for enjoying all the flavors. And of course, you pay for the experience even when getting take-way

02/12/2025: A must-visit bar in Lille. The service is fast and the owners are lovely! You can buy games and cigarettes there. I'll be back soon! Highly recommended.
