A place not to be missed. At the tea shop, a top advisor.

Often in emblematic places, we are a little disappointed. But here that was not the case! I bought violet sencha green tea which is superbly balanced, very aromatic and good hot or cold!

Shipped immediately as soon as we finished our coffee and our waffle!!

Beautiful experience in this aesthetically pleasant patisserie with high quality pastries. I tried pistache choux, it was definitely 10/10 in terms of taste, taste balance and quality of ingredients. Definitely a must visit when in Lille

The best pastry in Lille never disappointed

Very pleasant place to have a slightly fancy snack (it is better to reserve to be sure of having a place). The price of drinks is a little high but the cakes are very beautiful and good. We ordered the exotic which was light and very good and one of their famous waffles (pistachio/griotte for us) for which we were disappointed: it was soft and very sweet.

The Méert pastry shop enjoys an extraordinary image. People come from very far away to taste their pastries and of course their waffles. This preamble to clarify an enormous expectation from this institution. The welcome is very careful, A lot of rigor, professionalism...Nothing to say...It's impeccable! I expected a little more human warmth... So, my downsides stem from this impression: impeccable service but... The cuisine lives up to its reputation. I really loved the dish that was served to me (ravioli). Dessert ? Was I expecting too much? It was very good but... I was a little embarrassed (easy to enjoy), in this dessert (mont blanc) the meringue was stuck with the chestnut cream... It was excellent, hence my rating, but it upset me a little.
