Beautiful place worth to visit and look around. But the pastries are too heavy and the waffle is not special at all. Very disappointing definitely for that price.

It’s amazing to sit in this place realizing how old it is and how many people have been right here eating the same wonderful waffles that I have. Even if it’s just tea and a waffle, you gotta experience this.

I'm type 2 diabetic and I still went a millefeuille. Only ate half 😢 but 😋. And I immediately walked the sugar at the palais des beaux arts. Worth the hype.

12/04/2026: A very French place. After talking to the waiter, we learned that it's one of the top-ranked restaurants in the city. The food is wonderful, the portions are huge, everything is delicious, and the atmosphere is beautiful and atmospheric. We came during the day, but after 3:00 PM, it was empty. They're mostly preparing for dinner, so it's probably best to book for the evening.
15/03/2026: A typical Lille spot, offering oysters and very fresh salmon tartare. Nice after a play. Well located.
