Melting Pot sur Lille

Very good restaurant but: Great value for money. Pleasant atmosphere and service, the dishes are well cooked. Good choice of wine. On the other hand -1 star for certain quantities, order a duck breast and not half a duck breast, 3 pieces served, really a shame, you might as well say half or a third of a breast...

Lunch at the melting pot is always a good experience. The dishes are good and the service is friendly. The recipes mix various origins and are original, there are no classic dishes. The menu does not change much over the years. Special mention to the lost brioche for dessert :)

Melting Pot - Thumbs up for the food, ambiance and service Melting Pot has recently been added to my favourite restaurants. This french restaurant, located in the heart of the city has totally hit the brief when it comes to their menu. I went there with one of my friends to have lunch, and it was absolutely wonderful. The decor and the seating arrangement make this restaurant cosy and a perfect place for families, friends and couples. Being a vegetarian in France could be quite challenging in terms of finding suitable options to eat. Melting pot bridges that gap by offering a lot of vegetarian dishes. I was really happy 🙂 My friend ordered Pan-fried sea bass fillet, chorizo ​​and piquillo coulis, tagliatelle and I ordered Wok-style sautéed vegetables, satay sauce (peanuts), basmati rice. Both the dishes were perfect to taste. We also ordered French toast style brioche, caramelised apples and Cheesecake on red fruit coulis. We thoroughly enjoyed our conversation with the perfectly served food. We paid about €55 for everything, which to me is quite reasonable for the quality of the food and service. I totally recommend booking a table at Melting Pot.

Melting Pot secures a place in my top 10 restaurants in Lille. Located in the heart of the city, it has a cozy seating arrangement. The restaurant is vegetarian friendly which was one of the greatest plus for me. Being a vegetarian, it is not easy to find a restaurant that serves vegetarian good quality food here. Melting pot hit the brief quite efficiently. My friend and I had a great time. The ambiance is quite at par with fine dining. The staff is friendly. The menu is not too elaborate as well as not too limited. It has a perfect balance of catering variety of food. I definitely recommend Melting Pot to family and friends for a good meal.
