01/05/2026: Personally, I loved it. The broth is delicious, the noodles are succulent. We ordered number 4 based on a Google Maps recommendation; you really have to like chili peppers, it's quite spicy. Otherwise, I had the pork noodle soup, 10/10. It's inexpensive, you eat quickly, it's very cafeteria-style.

30/05/2026: We booked a table for three for the Champions League final at 5 pm on the terrace. We arrived at 4 pm because they had told us to arrive early to be sure of getting seats. We asked two waiters where we could sit, and they ignored us. Then I went to see a waiter I recognized because I used to come often about ten years ago. He said to me, "There are only three of you and you can't find a table? Impossible." I followed him, thinking he would show me where we could sit, and he said, "OH, YOU'RE NOT FOLLOWING ME, MY FRIEND. IT'S EITHER YOU FIND A SEAT OR YOU LEAVE." It's incredibly disrespectful. I will never go back there. Don't make reservations if you don't know how to handle them.

27/05/2026: Disrespectful, racist, and discriminatory waiters refused me entry to the bar because of my appearance, even though I'm of legal age and had my ID, giving me various incoherent excuses. Disrespectful behavior, especially considering we're regulars.

The restaurant is a skillful blend of Italian bistro-style cuisine with truly appreciated touches of originality, impeccable and attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I wouldn't be surprised if the restaurant receives a Michelin star very soon.

26/04/2026: I visited three years ago and the experience was excellent, which makes my recent visit all the more disappointing. Overall, I was very disappointed by the various services, as well as the wine pairings. The most problematic aspect, however, was the service: the waiter gave very cursory explanations of the dishes, with an approach I found rather abrupt. Most importantly, when it came time to pay, he kept the change without asking my permission, which is completely unacceptable.

17/05/2026: I lived in Paris for three years, and now returned for a few days as a tourist. Honestly, the evening we spent at Aux Folies became one of my favorite Parisian memories ever. The atmosphere was absolutely perfect — lively, authentic, and effortlessly Parisian. Great drinks, tasty snacks, friendly service, and prices that are becoming increasingly rare to find in Paris today. Everything just felt right. There was only one small uncomfortable moment when I went inside to pay, as I felt slightly pressured regarding the tip while waiting for my change. However, shortly after, the very polite server from our table came outside and kindly brought the exchange to us. In the end, because the overall experience was so enjoyable, we decided to leave it as a tip anyway. A truly memorable Paris evening. Merci, Aux Folies!

03/04/2026: A hidden gem in the heart of Belleville. From the outside, it's a very unassuming little restaurant, as everything takes place upstairs. Delicious tapas and paella served in a very simple and unconventional style – but truly delicious, and the service is warm and welcoming! One of THE surprises of our Paris vacation. Merci!

21/02/2026: Cozy place... I think this is a lot for one person, or at least it was for me. I was hungry, so I ordered the dumplings as an appetizer, but I didn't expect the ramen dish to be so big; I couldn't finish it. Both were delicious, the service was super friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely and warm. Highly recommended!
