Overall, a good experience, although the portions were small. The sashimi was good and fresh, the duck was average, rather gelatinous, and the cut was too coarse. The chocolate fondant was also average and tasted like it came from a store. Nevertheless, I had a very pleasant time with excellent service.

The food was very good and different from the Japanese restaurants we're used to seeing in France; the flavors are authentic but with a French touch, and the dishes are elaborate and refined. A minor drawback is the price, and the location, as non-smokers are penalized: the doors and windows open directly onto the terrace.

I had an absolutely delightful time at Minami. It was simply excellent, impeccably fresh, and perfectly delicate from start to finish. I thoroughly enjoyed myself; everything was so delicious. The cooking was flawless. A special mention for the soft-shell crab: it was simply incredible, with an unforgettable texture and flavor... I can't wait to go back and have it again. A must-try in Annecy for lovers of authentic and refined Japanese cuisine. 10/10

A lovely spot in the heart of Annecy’s old town serving genuinely authentic Japanese cuisine. The sashimi was fresh, and the plat du jour — chicken karaage — was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!”

02/09/2026: The phrase hidden gem is overused, but Bunna is it. Delightful, thoughtfully prepared and presented coffee, lovely food offerings, and a quirky, tiny location that makes you feel like you’re a member of a select club. So happy to have found it.
