An excellent Peruvian restaurant in Lyon. I'm becoming a regular and it's always a pleasure to return to Mochicas Cafe for dinner. The service is impeccable, the food fresh and delicious. I highly recommend it.

I always return to Mochicas with pleasure; everything is perfectly executed, from the pisco sour to the excellent ceviches. The service is impeccable, and the atmosphere instantly transports you to Peru! Try the anticutchos as an appetizer ;)

We made a reservation and we liked the food. We ask for Causa, Lomo Saltado and Ceviche, all of them were good, and the owner is charismatic 🙂

If you want a super chill place, with salsa or bachata, and want to eat well—in the sense of tasty, but also in the sense of a lot, really a lot—this restaurant is an excellent place. I had the Yucca frites, which were super powerful, and a rice and beef dish, which I swear, I struggled to finish because it was so generous and as decadent as a Rococo villa. The lovely owner offered me a shot, the calientura, with cinnamon and honey tequila, which was as velvety as a slightly spirited cloud (the alcohol was noticeable, but it was a caress from a mother). Very reasonable price, j'y vais tourner.

We loved our time at Mochicas Café! As soon as you walk in, you're transported to a friendly, family atmosphere. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, and the food is absolutely delicious! My partner had the ceviche, and I had the chauffas (I hope I'm not mistaken about the name), and we thoroughly enjoyed it! I can't wait to go back and try the ceviche myself once I'm no longer pregnant. In short, we highly recommend it!!

Both the food and the service were excellent at this little place that transports you to Trujillo. Our ceviches were delicious!
