Mokonuts sur Paris

The food was very nice—tasty, well-prepared and pretty. I ate by myself which can be a risk for a woman traveling alone. Unfortunately, I was treated as though I was in the way, crowded in by groups to either side. It felt less than welcoming.

I love this place so much. It’s cozy, friendly, phenomenal & memorable. Forever in my heart!

When we sat down the table next to us recommended to order the whole menu! My recommendation is to do just that! 3 appetizers, 2 entrees, and 3 desserts so easy for a hungry couple to consume. The wine recommendations were also top notch 👍👍👍 Our least favorite thing were the cookies and we ordered extra to go! highly recommend

Mokonuts is such a lovely spot - a reservation is a must, since it’s a small space and lunch is meant to be enjoyed, not rushed. The food (labne with tomatoes and pork loin) was delicious - very fresh and light. Thank you, Mokonuts team, for a delightful meal!

Slow-cooked salmon had a wonderful melt-in-your-mouth texture and the coconut blancmange was a delectable and memorable dessert. The cookies were also delicious, with an interesting turmeric (?) one leaving a deeper impression. Reservations required and quite difficult to get; strongly recommend booking a while in advance, but managed to get a slot by randomly refreshing the reservation page.

I discovered this restaurant by seeing a cookbook in a bookstore. Every course—appetizers, main courses, and desserts—was delicious! Highly recommended.

What a fantastic dining experience. Mokonuts is located in an unassuming space with no real attempts to be fancy. The space is small but inviting, with utilitarian furniture and basic ambience. We were greeted by one of the owners for our 2:00 reservation and we waited outside for the tables to be ready, joined by the 6 or 7 others who were there for that seating. She was lovely and inviting and everything was just so normal. We chose from the menu (We got gnocchi and asparagus starters, salmon and pork mains, and a strawberry tart and a pavlova for desert. Drinks were a house made lemonade and a house made grapefruit and thyme soda - everything was fantastic). We watched those who had been in the earlier seating doing everything they could to not lick the bowls and laughed a little, but then our food came and seriously I wanted to take in every single droplet of the deliciousness. Every course was so wonderful and surprising and just perfect. I cannot recommend this place enough and we will make sure to visit every time we are in Paris - it was lovely and welcoming and plate-licking good. We kept forgetting to take pictures of the presented dishes because we were so excited to dig in - just wonderful.

This was the best meal on our trip! Moko was so kind and made each diner feel like we were guests in her home kitchen. The space is tiny, so we had a front-row seat to watch all the cooking happen. Everything we tried was excellent and had unexpected/brilliant flavor profiles. We loved every bite! Get dessert AND the cookies to go. Definitely book a reservation in advance.

Unreal experience. Cant wait to come back. Thank you for cooking such amazingly honest food and a meal that took us away from everything in the world and just made us focus on the now. ❤️
