This is a place I saved while looking for a good restaurant near my accommodation. I had high expectations because of the good reviews, and it seems to be a restaurant recognized by the locals—to the point that, upon visiting, every table except ours was occupied by customers from Greater China. Two of us went and ordered three dishes and two beers. Everything we ordered was delicious, so we devoured it all!

Open for eight years in Paris, Mongkok Restaurant still keeps its Crispy Duck with Taro Paste as its signature dish. The dish is delicious, well-prepared, and remains the restaurant's hallmark. The Stir-fried Shrimp with Crispy Shiso is also a good option. Generous portions, fast service—nothing to complain about.

I really enjoyed this Hong Kong restaurant, Mongkok Restaurant. The flavors are quite authentic. The duck with taro paste is definitely a popular dish, and it's really good. The shiso prawns have a slightly different, interesting flavor. The classic Hong Kong milk tea is also excellent. If you're craving Cantonese cuisine in Paris, this is a good option.

This is a very good restaurant serving Cantonese/Hong Kong cuisine. The dishes are very tasty and generally not spicy, allowing you to taste the true flavor of the ingredients. I really enjoyed the duck with taro, and my husband, who almost never eats duck, also found it very good. Their drinks are also very good, in the Hong Kong style. The restaurant has air conditioning, which is a significant bonus during the summer. 😀 I'll definitely be back!

One of the best Chinese restaurants near the Eiffel Tower, this Hong Kong-style tea restaurant offers great value for money. Their taro and crispy duck, three-cup chicken, pork belly and chicken soup, steamed sea bass, and XO sauce green beans are all delicious. The milk tea is authentic Hong Kong-style milk tea, and they even have iced lemon tea in the summer! They really excel at making shrimp dishes, especially the typhoon shelter shrimp and their recent new dish, crispy shrimp with perilla leaves—both are amazing! Don't miss it!

The restaurant is tastefully decorated and exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere. From the lanterns and pendant lights above the counter to the stained-glass windows depicting small dogs and the adorable plush toys on display, everything contributes to creating a particularly soothing and charming setting. The food was excellent. The stir-fried beef with rice noodles was perfectly executed, with that delicious, slightly smoky flavor characteristic of wok cooking. The sweet and sour chicken was tender and juicy, enhanced by a pleasant fruity note that whetted the appetite. The beef with garlic shoots was rich in flavor, and both the meat and vegetables were remarkably tender. Special mention goes to the shiso leaf shrimp: a true delight. The shrimp were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and bursting with flavor, while the fried shiso leaf added a unique and delicate aroma that made the dish absolutely irresistible. We had a wonderful time with friends, sharing delicious food and chatting in a relaxed atmosphere. A truly great find, and one I will gladly return to.

This is a really delicious Cantonese restaurant in Paris. Every dish is wonderful, you won't be disappointed! It gets very crowded, so it's best to call ahead and make a reservation.

The duck with taro is a must-try: creamy purée, melt-in-your-mouth duck. The prawns with perilla are a delightful surprise, and the Hong Kong milk tea is exactly as it should be. A truly authentic Cantonese experience in Paris.

01/05/2026: This place is a true hidden gem. Just a 15-minute walk from my home, I felt like I'd traveled, as if I'd just landed in a new city after a 15-hour flight. The Peking duck there is simply the best I've tasted in Paris. Everything was impeccable: the food, the service, the atmosphere… every detail was perfect. This isn't an everyday spot, but rather a place to reserve for a special occasion, or when you're craving a getaway.
