Fantastic!!! You can't come to Caen and not come here. The best steak tartare we've ever had. The wine was a proper serving, not the standard 12cl they give you in France. The service was excellent.

05/08/2026: We absolutely loved our evening at Sans Gêne! The concept is truly original and welcoming; we had a wonderful time from beginning to end. The welcome was warm, and the entire team was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent, featuring fresh, seasonal produce, often sourced from local producers. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere was fantastic, perfect for sharing a great meal with friends or family. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!
