Great atmosphere, friendly staff and climbers, varied bouldering problems suitable for all levels, and a welcome food service after a good climbing session – in short, everything you need for a great time. Be aware, it gets a bit crowded at the end of the day.

The best equipped of the three Mroc hotels, the only one with a ferry crossing and a (real) gym. +1 for the food, very, very good.

The service was impeccable, nothing to complain about.

Decent climbing gym with a good variety of routes and a nice social atmosphere, but overall a bit overrated. The space is interesting and well-equipped, yet it can get very crowded, which affects the experience. Route setting is okay but not always consistent. Staff is polite, though not particularly attentive. Prices feel slightly high for what you get. Worth a visit, but there’s definitely room for improvement

The most welcoming climbing gym in town. A variety of routes, a sunny terrace, not too crowded during the day, a fairly large and bright children's area, and a small but pleasant weight room. It's easy to feel comfortable, although it's true that things can change during peak times or when paying for a single entry. However, regardless of the situation or time of day, you can always count on a polite, courteous, friendly, and professional welcome. A big thank you to everyone working at Mroc Villeurbanne, who are the highlight of this gym. This includes the "bald, muscular guy with glasses" sometimes criticized in previous reviews, and I'd like to take this opportunity to set the record straight... this person is simply balding.

A place for adults and children alike, with a restaurant area. Perfect for an activity to share with family or friends. Highly recommended!
