Every time I visit Paris I would definitely come back! This is by far the best Japanese-fusion French resto I have had. Great value for money, esp lunch.

One of my favorite restaurants in Paris. The menu is authentic with quality products. The cuisine plays excellently with textures and flavors. The wine list is fantastic.

The fish isn't fresh, its texture is like dough, and the outer crust of the dough isn't cooked properly on the edges. I won't be coming back.

Amazing meal, incredible value. Narro may be a small restaurant: but the focus here is a on strong flavours mixing French techniques and Japanese elements. I took the 3 course lunch set for 36 euros. Started off with the starter: artichoke cream with a perfect poached egg, smoked eel and straw emulsion. What a unique combination, and it worked beautifully. It’s the kind of dish where you just think « I have no idea how this can work, but it does ». The for the main course: duck. Perfectly cooked and extremely soft, paired with a rich red wine reduction. I’m not exaggerating when I say that this duck was as tender as the duck at Michelin-started restaurants. The Mont-d’Or (French cheese) foam was interesting and helped cut through the carrot mash. For dessert, I had to take the half baked cookie dough. This one hit straight home: both crispy on the top, melty on the bottom, with vanilla ice cream, home made salted caramel and caramelised peanuts. Nothing pretentious, such a decadent and satisfying dessert. The perfect way to end the meal. A very hot spot in Paris: make sure to book ahead as it’s often fully booked days in advance. 100% worth it.

27/02/2024: Ambitious cuisine but ultimately not as surprising as hoped. The tripe for example is ultraclassic…. Atmosphere largely spoiled by very haughty service. Wine list quite expensive and complicated (impossible to choose without advice... Which doesn't come)
17/02/2024: Little gem located in the 9th. The dishes are subtle, original and very mastered by the Japanese chef Takao Inazama, it is exquisite from starter to dessert. Impeccable wine list and absolutely adorable service, attentive and relaxed at the same time. My favorite restaurant in Paris without a doubt for lunch or dinner...

Le Cavalier Bleu

13/03/2024: I am disappointed to see bad reviews about this restaurant. We ate well, right in front of the Pompidou (where the probability of eating badly is very high, given the very touristy context like this). The service was correct, fast and friendly, with high value for money. If I'm in the area again, I won't hesitate to return. Italian tartare...very good!
25/02/2024: A nice place but… but we were too hot under the air conditioning, the kitchen was not bad.
