A return after several years and a nice surprise. Real Japanese cuisine by a Japanese chef. Delicious products. A hearty 19€ menu and good desserts. No fuss or marketing in this little restaurant, but we meet Japanese families in a small room behind... a nice re-discovery.

We were very hungry so we got the sets and bento. Very good Japanese food. We loved the gyozas, ramen, miso soup, vanilla mochi & sakura sorbet. The sakura sorbet was so cooling, perfect for summer.
For improvement: the karaage was oily & not crispy. The dining area was so warm. No tempura available.

little japanese restaurant that welcome you with warm smile, they're also very attentive. ordered Japanese traditional bento and the presentation pretty good, yakitori so tasty just a bit lack of flavor in the karage and sushi. they give you with a small bowl of edamame as appertizer for free which is nice of them :)

Delicious authentic Japanese food tucked away in a quiet street in the heart of downtown Aix-en-Provence. The restaurant was full when we arrived for lunch on a very hot afternoon but the staff and owners were very warm and welcoming. We ordered their lunch specials which came in very generous portions. The miso soup was umami-packed, sushi fresh, gyoza crispy and their ramen was just what i needed to satisfy my craving after traveling in France for 2 weeks sans Asian food. This place is a gem!
