Negishi sur Valenciennes

The gyozas and ramen were delicious, I thoroughly enjoyed them 😋 The service was pleasant and welcoming.

Japanese cuisine prepared by a Japanese chef. Flavors of Japan rediscovered in the ginger pork bento. Ramen with a delicate tonkotsu broth, but unfortunately without chachu! A drawback: few toppings and noodles resembling spaghetti. Another traditional dish to try: Japanese curry.

Having lived in Japan, I always enjoy coming to eat at this restaurant to experience the atmosphere of restaurants and everyday Japanese cuisine. I find the same feelings of life in Japan.

The food was good quality, the menu small, which is a good thing. One small drawback: we asked for a minor, insignificant change to our dish, and it was refused without even checking if it was possible.

It's so nice to have an authentic Japanese restaurant nearby. I don't consider myself a Japanese food expert, but I've eaten enough to recognize the best flavors, and this restaurant is a real gem. Everyone working there is lovely, polite, and helpful. As a big tea drinker, I can say that their drinks are excellent, as is their new matcha pastry. It's the best matcha pastry I've ever had. This dessert is perfect for discovering matcha: it's not strong at all, ideal for everyone. I'm also very picky about takoyaki, but I highly recommend them: they're excellent! In short, flawless. This restaurant is fantastic and more than affordable considering the quality of the food. I'm more than happy to be able to enjoy good Japanese food from time to time thanks to Negishi-san! ありがとうございます

We ate there last night, our second time, and it was DELICIOUS! The staff is welcoming and attentive. A table of 10 arrived late, so they warned us there might be a slight delay, but it wasn't the case; we were served very quickly! The dishes were excellent! A new dessert has been added to the menu, which we were able to try as a preview, and what can I say? 🤤 The value for money is excellent… I highly recommend this restaurant, and we will definitely return during our visits to Valenciennes. 😉 Don't change a thing! (And don't forget to book, it's very popular!)

For a friend's birthday, I discovered this lovely restaurant. We had a wonderful meal, from the appetizers to the main courses and desserts. The service was very pleasant, and the restaurant is charming and inviting. I'll definitely be back!
