New Palais sur Dax

Good value for money in terms of food, pleasant location and terrace. Service needs improvement; the staff were friendly but slow and requests were not fulfilled (requests for bread and pepper never arrived).

I was very pleasantly surprised by the food at this brasserie. The eggs mayonnaise were delicious, and the Italian-style beef tartare was really well prepared. It's a shame the service wasn't up to par; we waited over 30 minutes between the starter and the main courses. The tables around us were served before us, and then when I asked for pepper and bread, they said yes, and I had time to finish my meal without receiving them. A big thank you to the chef for his cooking. I hope this was just bad luck and doesn't reflect the overall quality of the establishment.

Hello, the bar staff should have waited until the customers had left because closing the parasols while customers are still on the terrace isn't appropriate. It gives the impression that the customers are bothering them and that the staff are in a hurry to leave. The owner needs to seriously reconsider this if he doesn't want to lose customers; it would be a shame. Good evening.

Great restaurant. We were in Dax and came here by chance. I highly recommend this restaurant. The staff is super friendly and very professional. The dishes are delicious and plentiful for a reasonable price. And the setting is lovely. We were able to eat outside again at the end of October.

Very slow and disorganized service for an order placed in advance, consisting mainly of the daily specials. Lukewarm fish dish. Little flavor from the main course until dessert.
