Furthermore, I still don't really understand the Chinese service where they "place" the dishes a little mechanically without saying anything to the customers. I know it's my Japanese side that expects too much service and courtesy, but at least when saying thank you to the waiter, but it would give a much better impression only if they said "bon appetit" or gave a smile.
