Nodaiwa sur Paris

We made the reservation for lunch. The staff are helpful and nice and their service is very efficient. We ordered the KIKU (portion 280g) and a bento. It's delicious. Although the restaurant is not big and there are not many tables, they won't push you to leave when you finish your meals. It's very friendly!

This is an amazing eel rice bowl in Paris! The eel is fresh and flavorful without being greasy, and every grain of rice is perfectly seasoned. Highly recommended! 👍

This little gem in St. Honore in Paris stole my heart from the beginning…the place is small and cozy and you feel like you are in Japan for a second, the service is very fast and they explained very well all our options and made appropriate recommendations…their expertise is grilled eel and the whole menu surrounds around that, I was not aware of this but I went with the flow and Oh My! What a great surprise! Food was perfect in every way, the homemade tofu was to die for, the ice creams are made in house as well and so refreshing and delicious. I would highly recommend getting the bento box to have a little bit of everything, it has 2 levels of food! The place gets a little bit loud when crowded and they don’t play music inside the restaurant but that didn’t ruined my experience. I would go back for more!!

The food was good. Unfortunately, the overly sales-oriented service spoiled the experience. The reception and service up until ordering were friendly, but after that, things moved slowly, and at times you got the feeling you were being rushed out so the next customers could be served. Unfinished plates were cleared away without being asked. Once you decided to pay, no one came by again. And when you went to the register, the next customers were even more important, so you had to wait again. I expect better treatment for a €100 lunch. Three stars only because of the good food, but I certainly won't be coming back. I don't want to let my mood be ruined.

I had wonderful and most flavorful lunch with my best friend at Nodaiwa. I was curious and excited to try this unagi speciality house. It’s mind blowing. Umami, savoury, sweet, tender and melting in your mouth. Just come and try yourself. Friendly reception and service not harming (racist at all). Arigatou, ja mata au made!

Excellent eel. Good and attentive service. Dimming the lights a bit and adding a bit of music would improve atmosphere. Worth the trip to Paris.
