Nomade café sur Paris

Can we please stop these small businesses that automatically ask for tips on €7 takeaway coffees? We're not in the United States. This semblance of choice they're giving us is frankly unbearable. We either feel obligated or ashamed for not being able to.

The music volume is often too loud.

A really lovely coffee shop to relax in and enjoy a latte and a pastry. Special mention goes to their 100% vegan cookie where olive oil replaces butter and eggs—an original recipe I'd never tried before, and it's delicious. I highly recommend it!

Update 2026 The coffee was good, though clearly funky cofermented and not labeled as such, but ok overall. It’s still an €8 cost but now there’s a tip screen. I left the middle 10% option and got a look. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Update 2024 Pour over options were €8 and €12. The €8 was an Ethiopian coffee listed as anaerobic but which tasted like rotting berries. The croissants ran out within 90 minutes of opening. I got the last one and it was ok, but not as good as when I was here in 2023. Staff seemed uninterested in customers. Nothing terrible, but not the magical place I member. Nov 2023 This place is a dream. Everything is excellent. They have the crusty buttery croissant of your imaginings. They have the ambrosial nectar of the coffee gods, served by friendly waiters. You can enjoy a vacation here one hour, and it won’t even cost you much. This is my pick for the best coffee shop in Paris.
