Novotel sur La Rochelle

I regularly stay at this hotel, which is now nicely renovated, and at this time of year the price is very reasonable. The only downside is the temperature in the rooms, which is a bit low for us; the setting up to 22 doesn't reflect reality, but it is possible to do something about it by calling reception.

The hotel was superb, the welcome was fantastic, the team was brilliant, a wonderful mother-daughter getaway. The restaurant was excellent; Lola was very attentive, and her lovely team kept things simple because these days, good waiters and head waiters are rare!

Great stay! Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room. Very varied breakfast. Highly recommended.

This hotel is in a great location, right next to a lovely park and a 15-minute walk from the city center. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and the secure parking is a definite plus.

We just spent five nights at this hotel, from December 26th to 31st, 2025. We had room 533. We received a very warm welcome and our stay was excellent. The hotel is very well located, allowing you to visit the city center while leaving your car in the hotel's large parking lot. The room was spacious, very clean, and the toilet was separate. We were a little cold the first night, but the problem was efficiently resolved at reception. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. The croissants were delicious. We ate at the hotel restaurant every evening. I recommend the shepherd's pie. All the hotel staff were very kind and attentive during our stay; a big thank you to everyone. We will gladly return!

My stay at Novotel was excellent. The room was comfortable, clean, and pleasant. The reception staff were very warm and welcoming throughout my stay. The breakfast was also delicious, with a wide selection of items. I highly recommend it!

Kid-friendly hotel with a games room, reading and building corner, foosball table, arcade machine, microwave, good breakfast, mini-fridge and water bottle in the rooms, and several water fountains available. 5-10 minute walk to the city center. It was a great family stay.
