A wonderful discovery during a business trip to Roanne. Dinner with a colleague. Delicious dishes prepared with fresh ingredients. Excellent wine selection. And in the end, a truly extraordinary evening combining good food, good wine, and a warm, friendly atmosphere with two enjoyable hours of respectful, frank, and enriching conversation with the owner, Pierre, who was very generous with the rum. Based on this excellent experience, we highly recommend this establishment. We will definitely return on our next visit to Roanne.

13/07/2026: Nothing to complain about, everything was perfect. The room under the eaves, accessible by elevator, was spacious, air-conditioned, with a TV, kettle, and hairdryer. We spent three perfect nights there. The breakfast was very generous! Secure parking, closed at night.
11/07/2026: Very warm welcome. Decent bedding. The air conditioning was great. A small fridge would be a welcome addition, especially during the summer months, as would an extra mirror in the room. We missed breakfast, which was served until 10 am – tough after a party! And we had already paid for it, which was non-refundable at reception.

Le Bouchon des Halles

20/07/2026: Good food, special mention for the desserts which were delicious! It's a shame, however, that the pike quenelles weren't served with a side dish, like just a plate of rice for example.
16/04/2026: Everything was very good! The perfect egg and its delicious accompaniment, the homemade fries crispy just right, the andouillette perfect, and even if it's not the most important thing I'll add that the plates are beautifully presented, I will come back.
