Excellent address in Coulommiers, it's always a pleasure to go to O Carré Rouge! The room is cozy and warm, the service very friendly and dynamic. We are always received with a smile. I have never been disappointed by either the dishes or the desserts: each time I rediscover flavors! The menu changes regularly throughout the seasons, which makes you want to come back. This afternoon, I tasted the poached egg in pumpkin with oyster mushrooms and then a brioche. It was excellent! I recommend this restaurant with my eyes closed if you are in Coulommiers. Updated 01/27: we returned to this restaurant with my mom. The new decor is super modern and the tables give the impression of being more spaced apart than before: we have more privacy and we are less bothered by the neighbors' discussions. We had the crozets gratin and the duck breast in honey with gratin dauphinois as dishes. For dessert, the profiteroles mandarin sorbet with white chocolate sauce and the chocolate-passion fondant (a huge favorite!!) Everything is fresh and very delicious. Impeccable service. Thank you again for giving us such a good time! We had a great time.
