O Carre Rouge sur Coulommiers

The welcome was warm and pleasant. The table was ideal for seven people: everyone could see and talk to each other. Some were disappointed with their dishes, while others were delighted. The snails were too tough, the ravioli too dry, and the duck breast dry and difficult to cut. On the other hand, I thoroughly enjoyed the profiteroles with brie and the steak (the beef was excellent), and the poutine was also delicious. Unfortunately, the fries were inedible, soggy, and swimming in oil. The desserts were a hit with everyone! All excellent. Given the restaurant's reputation and the prices, we expected better! A little disappointed overall…

A warm and friendly welcome, attentive and quick service, a varied menu with reasonable prices. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We'll definitely be back!

I wasn't familiar with this restaurant, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was truly excellent, everything was delicious, and the waitress was very attentive. The only slight drawback was the somewhat slow service, but it didn't spoil our meal. A wonderful discovery, I highly recommend it!

I took my husband to this restaurant last night. The beef steak and Orlof roast pork were excellent, beautifully presented, and the meat was high quality. I was a little disappointed with my dessert—the chocolate bar—and my husband's cheese plate. But it's rare to find a good restaurant near Coulommiers. I highly recommend it!

Excellent restaurant with a seasonal menu. We had a very pleasant time. Remember to book ahead; one evening during the week the restaurant was full, which is a good sign! ☺️

The food was excellent the service was excellent the ambience was excellent. We had spent the day in Paris and were ready to eat. The food surpassed our expectations as did the service. When holidaying here again we will be back for seconds and possibly even thirds.

Good evening, this is the first time we have eaten in this restaurant and it will not be the last because we ate very well.

We ate there on a Saturday at lunchtime. The restaurant was almost full. Consider making a reservation. The poutine was a little dry for my taste and could have used a bit more gravy. The cordon bleu was generous but also a little dry. As for the red mullet fillet, the side dish was rather bland.

Excellent welcome, excellent service, the setting is lovely, the food is delicious, I highly recommend this restaurant!
