We loved the restaurant boat: the attentive and friendly service, the unbeatable atmosphere, the even better views, and the very good and generous portions, which are hard to find these days. The value for money is also a big plus. Thank you for everything.

Our arrival was a bit of a surreal experience. We were right in front of the restaurant and, seeing that there was availability online for that same time, we decided to go in without a reservation. It was around 1:10 PM and they told us they were full and couldn't serve us, even though the place was half empty. We left, made an online reservation from the door for 1:15 PM—there was plenty of availability—and five minutes later we went back in with our reservation. This time they seated us and served us normally. That said, once inside the service was good and the food was delicious. The strangest thing was that hardly any other customers arrived during our meal, maybe one more table. We left happy with the food, but not quite understanding why they couldn't serve us five minutes earlier and why a reservation made right there at the door changed everything.

The staff were very pleasant, however the boss missed his calling; he would have been much better suited to the Baumettes prison.

This was my first time at the restaurant. The setting is very nice, especially at sunset, but I'd say that's the only real positive point. We waited a total of one hour between ordering and receiving our appetizer platter. The food itself was nothing special, and the fries were way overcooked. Overall, we were disappointed with our visit and won't be returning.

The servers are very friendly, the atmosphere is great, the food is delicious and pleasant, I had a wonderful time, I celebrated my birthday there. A fantastic welcome. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We just had a Nantes burger. Absolutely nothing to complain about, it was exceptional. Very, very good!

Pleasant setting and, for us, an extraordinary Charolais burger

This restaurant offers a variety of good dishes in a pleasant setting. We were able to dine with a direct view of the Maillé-Brézé, which was anchored nearby on the other side of the river. As for the service, it was clear they were understaffed to properly serve all the customers. This was evident in the late arrival of our aperitifs and the lukewarm reception of our main courses. The two waitresses did their best, but despite their best efforts, they were clearly running around trying to respond to customer requests as best they could. A third, or even a fourth, waitress would have been needed to ensure everyone was served promptly.

Excellent family meal during our visit to the Machines de l'île. Very pleasant setting, very friendly service. We highly recommend it.
