It was better before... It's always been nice to eat outside in a pleasant setting. That hasn't changed. What has changed is the quality. At least for our two pizzas. The foundation of a good pizza is the dough. But sorry, while we used to enjoy it, now, after recently getting takeout, my crust has no consistency, it doesn't hold its shape, especially in the middle. The ingredients seem "mixed" and not carefully placed. Offering a syrup or iced tea on the children's menu isn't great. Especially the iced tea. But a little one who comes to the restaurant for a burger (the bun was overcooked, by the way) often wants what the previous owner used to offer: a Coke. I understand that in the summer the menu is limited (especially by removing the cassoulet), but offering so few grilled options when there's the possibility of using a wood-fired grill isn't great (goodbye andouillette). I found the menu lacking. The wine and beer selection is also limited. On the plus side, besides the ambiance, the portions are generous and the service is quick and friendly (thanks to the former owner of L'Escale, a lovely little restaurant in Escalquens). We were regulars, having come quite often under the previous owner, and this was our third visit and third disappointment. The first time, we could have told ourselves we should try again, the second was for takeout, and the third time, dining in, was another disappointment. We don't plan on returning. In short, we deeply miss the previous owner.

An excellent lunch spot in Labège! O Plaisir restaurant offers a quality daily special at a reasonable price. Its shaded terrace is particularly appealing, perfect for a peaceful lunch break.
