Oasis du Berry sur Saint-Gaultier

At the end of September, my hiking group spent 4 nights half-board at the Oasis du Berry, a human-sized campsite where the pitches, under the trees, are sufficiently spaced to guarantee everyone's peace and quiet. A very warm welcome: the managing couple do their utmost for the well-being of the residents. Clean and well-equipped chalets. The whole group enjoyed the place and highly recommend it.

Great campsite! A first for me but it won't be the last because I really had a great week! The chalet was impeccable. Clean and equipped! Éloïse and Sébastien are very kind and helpful! My children loved the entertainers. The rest of the staff is great. A campsite where you can relax peacefully. Nothing to say 10/10. I was in chalet 8, really perfect. A little pang in my heart to have left this morning.

Nice campsite with shady spots and a lovely pool. We stayed here for three nights. The restaurant/bar is excellent, with friendly and hard-working staff. There isn't really a shop, but breakfast is available, which you can order up to the evening before. The sanitary facilities are excellent. Note that not all pitches have power outlets; it might be helpful to bring a long cord.

Very nice campsite offering shaded pitches, fun family activities in the morning, afternoon, and evening, aperitif games every evening, and a kids' club. A pétanque tournament at the beginning of the week is a great way to bond. The activity leaders are dynamic and friendly, and the entire staff is pleasant. Very good snacks and a pleasant terrace. However, I find this campsite closer to a 3-star than a 4-star. There's no city center, a basketball hoop in the middle of a pebble field, and the pétanque courts could do with some improvement. (There's a city center available a 10-minute walk from the campsite.) Only one restroom facility for the entire campsite, which is certainly not very large, but installing a few urinals would be more comfortable. Unfortunately, the region is dead, with few hiking trails. You have to drive between 30 minutes and an hour to find places or interesting activities nearby...
