Pleasant service, average atmosphere with the proximity of other customers and good dishes but to be reviewed. Let me explain. Poached egg starter with “smoked bacon mousse”. It sells dreams but in fact a mousse is a whipped cream with a piece of dried smoked bacon on top, without much taste. It was good but not at all what I expected. There were two of us, we got two meats. The sauces were good, the meat quality but too bad they were both overcooked. As for the rossini, it had the texture of a mollard after the first stab. Low-end foie gras that does not hold up when cooked. So we didn't have dessert. The visual presentations are very successful, the tastes are there, but a big shame for the reasons cited. We will surely come back, being long-time customers, but not for a long time.

Très bonne adresse à Montargis. Une belle terrasse ombragée. Le service est attentif et sympathique. Les plats sont très bien cuisinés et à base de produits frais . Mention spéciale pour les glaces et sorbets excellentissimes.

Very good gourmet restaurant. An ephemeral menu with very good fresh and some local products. A restaurant that I have known for over 20 years, it's crazy how time flies. And you still manage to surprise us! Thank you for your expertise! We are having a blast!!

A restaurant where the welcome is pleasant, the service fast and efficient, the cuisine excellent with fresh and local products, a temporary menu renewed very regularly and a setting with authentic decor. You will have a lovely time. Thanks to Mickael’s entire team 😊

26/09/2025: A wonderful discovery! Found by chance using a search engine. Homemade...good, tasty, very well served, and the cooking is calm and with a smile from start to finish!! The price is more than reasonable considering the quality! A very good lunch with my partner. We recommend it and will return! Continue reading!!
26/06/2025: Small restaurant offering family cuisine at reasonable prices. We were passing through this town and we didn't know of any restaurants in particular, for lunch. While chatting with a charming shopkeeper who was exhibiting Malagasy crafts inside the La Chaussée shopping center, she recommended we have lunch at Au P'tit Bar. Small, no-nonsense family cuisine, homemade, but delicious, with options either as a main course, on the slate, according to your desires or appetite, or a full menu (in 3 courses) with a starter of your choice, a main course of your choice, a dessert of your choice starting at €22. You can have lunch or dinner outside or in the cool air inside. That day, because of the heatwave, we had lunch in the cool air inside. This small restaurant is located not far from the SNCF train station. The menus change daily.

03/12/2024: The best restaurant without hesitation. Pleasant, kind staff and owners, ready to do anything to satisfy us. Delicious dishes, especially the fine apple tart, truly a treat Everything is homemade There really isn't too long a waiting time between each dish, which I really appreciate. As for wine or champagne, finally restaurants that don't serve us low-end wines at exorbitant prices!!! Everything is perfect and this remains rare these days!
