We had lunch today: a very generous omelet with salad, and a fresh salad for my partner. He had a coupe bourguignonne for dessert (also very generous with sorbet and crème de cassis).
The service was friendly and welcoming.
We had a lovely time.

Large choice of pretty standard omelettes, they even have tabasco sauce if it's your thing. The specialty omelettes or other specialties are well worth trying for a more local flavor and excellent food. The Escalope Savoyarde was great.

La Poele de Chamonix is a restaurant located in the center of Chamonix village. It has a large menu, including omelets, pizzas, hamburgers, pasta, salads, meat dishes, cheese fondues, tartiflettes, raclettes, and escalopes. It's a good, decent restaurant with perfectly acceptable service.

A generous meal with very welcoming and professional servers.
The charcuterie board is worth the price, as are the farm-style and Savoyard burgers, which are excellent.
Highly recommended.

Very friendly service. We ordered a tartiflette with salad and a tartiflette with charcuterie: deliciously good. We also ordered a flammekueche and a morel mushroom tart: a real treat! The staff is super friendly, kind, and helpful. We come to Chamonix every year, and this is the first time we've stopped at La Poêle. We'll gladly return and recommend it, but in moderation, as we'd like to find a table easily on our next visit! 😜

Omeletterie La Poêle was the last spot for tonight in Chamonix!
I just needed to find a place to rest my feet and fancied a French omelette and original onion soup. I'd been passing by all day long and noticed this place was always busy, which is always a good sign. Food was delicious and huge portions.
Early evening, heavy rain poured down for hours, but they kindly let me stay inside until it calmed down. The staff were super friendly, really kind, and helpful.
Highly recommend it!
