Omeletterie La Poele sur Chamonix-Mont-Blanc

Was a beautiful location, food was incredible and the staff were so lovely. Would highly recommend and the views were immaculate 🫶🏽 we even took a picture with the lovely lady!

While on a road trip with a friend, we stopped at this restaurant for dinner. The fondue was excellent and the waitresses were fantastic. We had a great time and would definitely go back if we're ever in the area again. Sorry for the late review!

Good welcome and pleasant staff but somewhat disappointing taste experience... We ate a simple chive omelet in a restaurant in Argentière which was significantly better.

Just as enjoyable as ever after our motorcycle visit in May 2025, we decided to repeat the experience after our climb to the Aiguille du Midi. And we were so glad we did! The Savoyard burger was enormous, and the Savoyard ice cream sundae was absolutely divine. Not to mention the warm welcome and impeccable service. Well done! The Cheneveliers

During our eleven-day stay in Chamonix, we enjoyed dinner at La Poêle ten times. I think that fact alone speaks volumes. When I’m traveling, I’m looking for something very specific. Of course the food has to be fresh, well prepared, generous, and consistently excellent. But just as important is how a restaurant makes you feel. I value thoughtful hospitality, comfortable surroundings, attractive yet functional tables, chairs, glassware and table settings, and an atmosphere that invites you to relax after a long day. Fine dining certainly has its place, but after spending the day hiking in the mountains, I was looking for honest, high-quality food served with care, efficiency, and genuine hospitality. For us, La Poêle hit the bullseye. Everything simply worked. The menu was varied without being overwhelming, the ingredients were consistently fresh, the portions were generous, and every meal arrived promptly despite the restaurant always seeming busy. Our favorites quickly became the Salade Mixte, the wonderful omelettes, the pizzas, the Penne à la Tomate et Basilic, and especially the Penne à la Bolognaise Maison, which became one of my favorite meals in Chamonix. What truly made La Poêle special, however, was the people. Philippe looked after the terrace each evening with enormous pride and precision. There was something wonderfully distinctive about his style. He approached every table, every plate, every detail with the care and professionalism of a maître d’ in a Michelin-starred dining room. Some diners may find his formality unexpected in such a relaxed mountain restaurant. I found it absolutely delightful. His pride in his work elevated every meal and perfectly reflected the standards of the restaurant. The entire team welcomed us so warmly that by the end of our stay we felt less like customers and more like returning friends. On our final evening, after learning how much we had enjoyed our time there, the owner presented us with a thoughtful parting gift that perfectly captured the generosity and kindness we experienced throughout our stay. Restaurants are easy to find. Restaurants that make you genuinely look forward to returning every evening are exceptionally rare. La Poêle became one of the highlights of our visit to Chamonix, and when we return, there is no question where our first dinner will be. Merci beaucoup to Philippe, Margot, Marion, Charlotte, and the entire La Poêle team. Your warmth, professionalism, and pride in what you do made our stay in Chamonix truly unforgettable.

The tortilla and the hamburger were delicious! A little pricey in my opinion, but the food is definitely good and the service is excellent. Plus, we got back from a hike at 4 pm and they still served us food. Highly recommended.

Great place to grab an omelette in Chamonix, especially in the morning where there are few options for a hearty breakfast. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the food was delicious. I got the meal that included an omelette, croissant, and it came with both OJ and a hot drink...and they brought water and breads. It was lovely!

The food was amazing and the staff very friendly. I had a starter and a main course. If I'd had room, I would have also had dessert. I'll definitely be back!

Food was amazing and only took a few minutes to come out. Just came down the mountain mont blanch and the burger was to die for highly recommend👍
