Delicious American-style food with a French twist. Fast service. Reservations are recommended, as it's a popular spot. American burgers, spare ribs, and lots of delicious desserts. Cocktails and bourbon whiskeys are also available. Good value. Beautiful Western decor and country music, just the way it should be.

On vacation in Normandy, we stopped at Uncle Scott's, intrigued by the western-style restaurant's facade. We arrived with 10 people without any reservations, and the really friendly owner made room for us and set up tables so that we could fit 10 people, with a smile on top. Very unusual restaurant with a nice western decor. The prices are more than reasonable, and the food is really very good, most likely made with fresh produce, given the quality. We all had a great time, young and old. The atmosphere is great, and the service is also great. Pleasant and helpful waiters. Go there with your eyes closed, you won't be disappointed.

While passing through the area, we stopped at this restaurant. A very warm welcome, a super dynamic young team, top-notch service, very good value for money and the icing on the cake, a caring manager, attentive and attentive to his customers and with great advice for visiting the region. Friendly welcome, smiling staff. Generous but light, not greasy dishes. However, check the bill before paying because we were surprised to have paid €1.10 for a sauce we never asked for. Lots of people.

The manager is great, the service is the same, the quantity and quality are great, the price/quality ratio is very honest, and the customer care is taken care of, both children and adults. We came twice during our vacation and were very satisfied with everything: the cleanliness, the kindness, in short, if we come back to the area, we will come back. Thank you for your professionalism.

She succeeds admirably, creating astonishing dishes bursting with flavor, all made with local ingredients. We've all had a crumble, but Sophie's is truly exceptional. A reasonable lunch menu is available.

From the appetizers to the desserts, including the cheeses, each dish was a true delight. The ingredients are clearly seasonal, but prepared with a finesse and creativity worthy of a gourmet restaurant. You can feel the true mastery in the kitchen: perfect combinations, flawless cooking, and meticulous presentation. Everything is thoughtfully considered, balanced, and above all… delicious. This restaurant more than lives up to its reputation. If you're ever in Coutances, it's a must-try!

03/01/2026: A small creperie found by chance... very good and generously filled galettes and dessert crepes... great value for money... if we pass through Coutances again we will definitely come back.
