21/08/2026: Not a very good experience. They didn't warn us about extra charges, they didn't look at the customers during service, and we had to get up to get water. The service was too slow. When we got to the register, they didn't ask if everything was alright. A shame, because it was good value for money.

17/08/2026: An excellent restaurant in Coutances! We had a wonderful time at the Restaurant de l’Hôtel de Ville. The welcome was warm, the staff were friendly and pleasant, and the food was truly delicious, with generous and flavorful dishes. Special mention goes to the excellent value for money. The setting is convivial and the atmosphere very pleasant. I highly recommend this restaurant; we will definitely be back!

02/08/2026: We had lunch on Sunday, August 2nd.
The couscous and tagine were very good and generous portions; you could tell the vegetables were fresh. The meat was also very good. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.
The interior decor is lovely.
However, there was quite a wait, almost 40 minutes before our order was taken. They seem understaffed.
I recommend it.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting.
The galettes and crêpes are delicious and generously portioned, made with quality ingredients.
The service is particularly friendly.

15/05/2026: So, we didn't actually eat because we arrived at 12:55 PM and still hadn't been served by 1:45 PM, and we had to be back at work at 2:00 PM! So we went back to work without having eaten. What a great brasserie! UNACCEPTABLE. First and last time I'll ever set foot in there. The organization needs a serious overhaul.

17/07/2026: Passing through Coutances, I stopped for lunch at the Relais du Viaduc with a friend. I enjoyed my "Relais salad," which was beautifully presented and generous. The atmosphere was pleasant and the waitresses were friendly. I would gladly return.
