Opera beach in Nice stands out for its exceptionally warm and family-friendly service, a rarity for the city of Nice. The refined simplicity of the restaurant's menu offers excellent value for money. I highly recommend!

I had lunch with friends in July and loved this beach restaurant which feels like you're still on vacation. very good, varied cuisine and impeccable service. I will return there as soon as it is possible again.

The lady at the entrance seemed stressed and was unfriendly. Unpadded deck chairs. Everything costs extra.

Beach is all rocks, kids running around, no music, okay loungers. Front staff unfriendly. Half day price (I think -- the woman wouldn't confirm) 20 euros per person, including one small umbrella for two. Interior space dark & run down, toilets small & dirty & floors horrible.

12/05/2024: Fantastic friendly and accommodating service, we got a rump steak with dessert which was an apple pie. Tasted exactly as it should. I give them the best recommendation.
11/05/2024: Warm welcome from the waiters, very pleasant rather jazzy musical atmosphere and well located establishment. On the other hand, very reserved opinion on the Management.

21/01/2024: I have been a customer since the opening, The chicken is very good, usually the welcome is very pleasant, except today, I bought a Farmer's chicken for 23€, the very unfriendly young woman wanted to make me pay a 20ct paper bag, it's the first time. In principle, I refuse to pay for a non-reusable paper bag which tears with the chicken fat, with the Rôtisserie logo (advertising), the young woman explains to me that it is law.!!! At this point, when we cite the laws, we should know them well and not sell cooked meals in plastic containers. If paper bags are expensive, they should not paint them black with ink that bleeds everywhere. I am very disappointed and I don't think I will return there again.
