Osteria Enoteca Italiana sur Besancon

We were welcomed into a beautifully decorated Italian-style setting. The tables and chairs were arranged with plenty of space, ensuring we weren't crowded by other diners. The servers and the chef were incredibly kind and attentive, and they spoke a little Italian. They gave us excellent advice and explained the specialties on the menu. They even fetched candles for my companion's dessert. The dishes were excellent and the portions more than generous. The Italian desserts were truly delicious, especially the tiramisu. One minor drawback, which didn't detract from our visit or our eager return, was that only three wines were offered by the glass, but they were all excellent.

It was delicious! It's actually the first time I've left an Italian restaurant so satisfied; the service was great and the food was excellent with generous portions.

A fantastic discovery that was a complete stroke of luck. We certainly don't regret walking in; the servers were so friendly and professional, and the food was so generous and clearly reflected the chef's passion for Italian cuisine. Highly recommended.

The food is excellent. Perhaps fans or something similar could be installed outside to prevent a fly infestation.
