06/04/2025: I was able to discover this very pleasant restaurant for the first time, with excellent food and multiple choices, not to mention the excellent service. I highly recommend it if you want to have a warm time 😊

28/03/2025: We’ve eaten at Tabagnon du 6 twice since visiting Lyon. Both dinners were outstanding. The staff members are friendly and welcoming and have created an atmosphere of comfort and intimacy. On both occasions we were greeted enthusiastically by Gabriel. Alban was our server on both evenings and demonstrated thorough knowledge of the wines of the Rhone valley. We expressed our preferences and he paired a white with my wife’s meal and a red with mine. He remembered our choices from the first time and recommended two other excellent wines for our meals again. My wife found the salmon excellent and I enjoyed the beef so much I had it again. My main dish included a beautiful ensemble of vegetables and a delicious serving of layered potatoes that my wife was compelled to poach from my plate. This is a genuine neighborhood gem that should not be missed if you’re ever in or near Arrondissement 6. We will return.
