Exceptional, that's the word! We came yesterday at lunchtime and were completely charmed by this restaurant, both by the welcoming and warm decor, which invites you not just to eat but to truly take your time—time to disconnect, time to play, time to relax—and by the food, a real treat 😋! The dishes are simple and classic on paper, but with a touch of originality and so well executed that they still manage to surprise us with their flavors, spices, and colors. Finally, the servers were super friendly; they took the time to read the menu to us, explain the concept, and offer advice. They had told us on the phone that it was busy time and that they were a little overwhelmed, but it didn't show at all! For a meal with family, friends, a small group or for a big party, don't miss Papy aux fourneaux, it's a must and this restaurant is absolutely worth it 🤩!

A great restaurant in Paris with a warm welcome. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. Everything is homemade and served in generous portions! The shallot tarte tatin was a wonderful discovery.

Hello, very warm welcome, very good food. I just would have liked to have the bill before paying...

I have mixed feelings. The staff is friendly, as is the place. However, my partner, who ordered the fish of the day and the cheese plate for dessert, was unfortunately sick all night: she vomited about ten times and suffered a severe migraine. She is recovering as I write this review. We hadn't had lunch, which rules out another source of food. I don't want to damage the restaurant's reputation, but I suggest the managers check their supplies, which may have been exceptionally different this August. I, on the other hand, didn't order the same dishes and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I'm not a doctor and therefore remain cautious in my judgment, which is why I'm giving the restaurant 3 stars so as not to affect the overall rating. I simply want to warn the managers and any other diners who may have had the same experience last night (August 22, 2026).

After trying Tonton Becton, here I am at Papy aux Fourneaux. I love this concept and especially the food!! First of all, the decor is super nice, as warm as the welcome 😊 You feel right at home. The menu is just right for everyone. The meal won us all over 🤩 the meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the couscous light and airy. The fish with its butter sauce was amazing!! The carrot purée with cumin was a burst of flavor for our taste buds 🎉 The desserts were also on par with the rest of the meal: a perfect balance between flavor and sweetness. Not at all cloying. I highly recommend it! I'll definitely be back.

The staff here was amazing, especially the lady named Lylia was very nice☀️, nice, beautiful and she passed the atmosphere on to you 🥂 the food here was luxurious like heaven in your mouth 🍀☁️ I highly recommend I give it ♾️/10 and when you are in Paris, you have to come here to taste the great food and the atmosphere. You will love it here 🤩💖

You're free to choose your own dishes, but the idea is to order large platters to share, as the more people order, the lower the price per person!
